Prints of artwork are complemented by adding a mat. Select the option to include a soft white, beveled edge, 4-ply mat with your print. A mat gives an elevated “focused in” look to the artwork.

Remember that a mat will add to the final dimensions of your finished piece (so if your artwork is 16×20", your final framed size would be 20×24").

A painting I made based on my memories of my trip to Thessaloniki. It was my first trip to Greece after several years. I arrived at my hotel in the evening at about 9pm. There was an abundance of life out on the streets and people were enjoying themselves. It’s exciting to be back. I’m staying one night before going to Thessaloniki.

How refreshing it was to be close to the sea after arriving in Thessaloniki. We walked along the sea near the White Tower. I remember the formation of the clouds during the sunset and the wild colors in the sky.

It was difficult to return home to San Francisco. I realized I was only there for the job. I started working on this painting as an experiment in externalizing my experience and memories.
