Artist's Inspiration
A painting I made based on memories of our trip to Corfu. We were looking to explore places off the main road for hidden beaches and landscapes. We turned right onto a random, small road that was going downhill towards the sea. We drove down and found a place to park and walked the rest of the way.
I took a minute to notice the sound of the wind blowing through the branches and leaves with glimmers of light flickering. Too often we take for granted the incredible visuals we are blessed with in this world.
There was a beach there but it was rocky and windy so we looked around a bit then went back. We saw an older couple working outside, preparing their vegetable garden.
