We are enjoying living by the sea and walking along the coast. We spent a summer day at Horeftra beach which is within walking distance from our home. I like to be busy, so I brought my easel and paints.

One can’t help but notice this giant “Prickly Juniper” which hangs down above the path. Its trunk twists and turns in seemingly impossible directions. I wanted to capture the summer heat, azure color of the sea, and the cool shade that this giant provides.

There is also a fantastic restaurant “Horeftra” which serves the best pizza on the island.
