Frame your piece with a mat
Prints of artwork are complemented by adding a mat. Select the option to include a 2in(for US size) or 55mm(for EU size) thick mat made by Filotechno (quality: cream core, color: soft white) with your print. A mat gives an elevated “focused in” look to the artwork.
Remember that a mat will add to the final dimensions of your finished piece (so if your artwork is 16×20in, your final framed size would be 20×24in).

Artist's InspirationMy wife and I were living together in Athens. Over the weekend we rented a car and drove to Nafplio to explore. This romantic, coastal town was once the capital of Greece, before Athens. Ancient walls, medieval castles, monuments and statues, Ottoman fountains and Venetian buildings are mesmerizing.
One of the things that I caught myself staring at in fascination was the castle out in the sea. This is a Venetian water castle called Bourtz. It’s located in the middle of the harbor of Nafplio. There were some fishermen coming back to dock. The sea was smooth and glassy. The winter weather was cool and crisp.
Fishermen tend their nets as a castle stands guard over tranquil waters, capturing a serene harbor scene.
